Dentistry under anaesthesia - no fear, no pain
Many people are afraid of the dentist, which, in many cases, leads to serious neglect of teeth.
Often at Dental Centrum, we deal with a situation in which the paralyzing fear of the dentist, called DENTOPHOBIA, makes it difficult or even impossible to carry out even the simplest dental procedure.
In this case, we recommend dental surgery under general anaesthesia or sedation, commonly known as narcosis.
Thanks to anaesthesia, you can undergo comprehensive dental treatment, surgery and implant placement in only one visit.
Contrary to popular belief, procedures under general anaesthesia are very safe, as long as they are performed by an experienced specialist in anesthesiology with intensive care, in a facility such as Dental Centrum, which has full anesthesiological facilities. If you would like to find out more about dental treatment under anaesthesia in our clinic, watch a short film we have prepared especially for you.
Thanks to the possibilities offered by anaesthesia, the dentist can safely and efficiently perform activities which often require many visits. Instead, we are able to treat many teeth in one procedure.
The procedure is safe and can be carried out on adults and children, although some conditions prevent general anaesthesia (narcosis) in the dental office.
